AACVPR is happy to announce a brand new educational opportunity for emerging CR/PR professionals, the Emerging Professional Track. These "101" sessions are perfect for current students/recent graduates, individuals who are just entering the CR/PR field, and those attending their very first AACVPR annual meeting. Contact Andrew Miller at amiller@aacvpr.org. There is no additional fee to participate, but verification of your status as a student or emerging professional may be requested.

Meet-Up with a Mentor Activity 
AACVPR would like to offer an exclusive opportunity to attendees who are students or who are new to the profession with the opportunity to engage throughout the meeting with a “Conference Buddy”. 

This opportunity is an excellent way to navigate the Annual Meeting if you are still enrolled in school or have just recently started working in cardiac/pulmonary rehab, and this is one of your first AACVPR Annual Meetings. 

Additionally, AACVPR encourages you to attend the Emerging Professionals education sessions held daily from 7:00am-7:45am.

This presentation will provide guidelines and suggestions for creating the "perfect" poster.  Learn how to present your message in a succinct manner that attendees will find easy to read, yet informative.

Students can join fellow emerging professional for an evening networking event at one of Charleston's hottest restaurants, 492, for southern desserts and cocktails. Mix and mingle with the AACVPR Board members and make lasting connections that will help progress your career. *Invitation to follow.

A look at the operations, organization and opportunities for involvement at SCACVPR. A list of programs in the state and contact information will also be handed out to students for professional networking and internship opportunities.
