Stay with us at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center and be in the thick of things. The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is right across the street from the Midwest Airlines Center, Milwaukee's largest convention facility, and just 15 minutes from General Mitchell International Airport. The Hilton Milwaukee City Center is in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. AACVPR has secured discounted room rates for attendees which are available until the room blocks are filled or until September 13, 2010. To reserve your room, contact the hotel as soon as possible and reference AACVPR. Reservations made after the AACVPR block is full are subject to space and rate availability.  

Room Rate: $169 single/double occupancy. Current room tax is 14.6%.

Cabs are also readily available outside Carousel 3 at the airport baggage claim.  One way fare is approximately $18.00

Milwaukee's downtown Amtrak station has undergone a $17 million transformation. The result is the Milwaukee Intermodal Station. A "transportation gateway" to the city, this new facility houses Amtrak's rail connections from the Milwaukee Airport train station.   If you will be flying into the O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and are not renting a car, you can take the Amtrak train from Union Station to the Milwaukee Intermodal Station.  This station is located approximately, 7 minutes walking distance from the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
