AACVPR membership is open to any interested person who is a nurse, physician, medical scientist, allied health-care practitioner or educator, and who in his or her professional endeavors, is regularly involved in some aspect of cardiovascular and/or pulmonary rehabilitation. Members have AACVPR voting privileges.

Membership Fee: $195

Student membership is open to any interested college student currently carrying the equivalent of at least one half of an academic load for one year, as defined by the university or college the person is attending, and one who is studying in a medical or allied health curriculum.

Student Membership Fee: $75

A Fellow of AACVPR must be a member in good standing for a minimum of three consecutive years and meet the following requirements:

• Attended a minimum of two Annual Meetings
• Demonstrated high standards of professional development and a commitment to the goals and long-range activities of the Association
• Submitted evidence of outstanding performance in some aspect of cardiovascular or pulmonary rehabilitation over a period of at least five years relative to clinical practice, research, andprofessional education in cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Received recommendations in writing by two Fellows of the Association
• Received the approval of the Credentials Committee and the Board of Directors.
