AACVPR gives students a chance to glance up from their textbooks and peak into the real world of preventive medicine, research news, and rehabilitation. Not only will AACVPR keep you up to date on important health related issues, but it will also give you a helping hand as a student by having job listings, scholarships, conventions, certificates of completion of clinical specialties, and career mentors. You will have access to this and more being apart of the AACVPR student membership!
AACVPR Student Membership Application
A Student member shall be any interested college student currently carrying the equivalent of at least one half of an academic load for one year, as defined by the university or college the person is attending, and one who is studying in a medical or allied health curriculum.

Student Scholarships
AACVPR Student Scholarships are intended to encourage and support capable students with interest and potential in the field of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and related careers. Information is drawn from your application, transcript, personal statement, and recommendation. The Selection Committee considers a variety of factors such as Personal Qualities, Academic History, and Interest in the field. AACVPR Certificates of Completion are intended to encourage and support capable students with interest and potential in the field of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and related careers. Information is drawn from you, the site supervisor of your internship, and your electronic application. The AACVPR Membership Marketing committee regards this certificate as a reputable and hard earned certificate under the advisement of AACVPR certified programs. Do you need an Internship to complete your degree? Students can click the link below for a list of certified AACVPR programs which may offer clinical experiences for degree programs: Exercise Science Internship, Dietetic Internship, Respiratory Therapy Rotation or Internship, Nursing Clinical Rotation or Internship, etc. The Student is responsible for contacting the certified site to check for availability of the specified discipline related clinical experience.
