The AACVPR Annual Meeting is the premier educational and networking event for Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation professionals nationwide. Benefits include:

    • Richard Hurt, MD, will discuss "Tobacco: A Modern Plague and a Pandemic for the Ages."
    • The Honorable John D. "Jay" Rockefeller IV, US Senator from West Virginia, will speak on healthcare and the future of America.
    • Walter C. Willett, MD, DrPH and Fredrick John Stare Professor of Epidemiology and Nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH), is well-known for his rebuilding of the USDA food pyramid. In his book Eat. Drink. And Be Healthy, Dr. Willett disassembles the USDA Food Pyramid and replaces it with one based in part on years of research done at HSPH and the Harvard Medical School.  
  • Online Syllabus: Available September 1, the Annual Meeting Syllabus will be available online offering the option of printing only the materials needed.
  • Exhibit Hall: This is your chance to visit with over 30 exhibitors to learn about new products and services in the field.
  • Pre-Meeting Workshops: Add to your learning experience by selecting one of the two excellent pre--meeting workshops on Thursday, September 14, 2006: #1 -- The Renaissance of Rehab: Adjusting the Business Model for Tomorrow’s Customers” and #2 -- Preventing and Treating the Cardiovascular Consequences of Type 2 Diabetes. The fee per three-hour workshop is just $95.00.
