Course Description
This presentation will discuss current guidelines with recommendations for LDL-C thresholds and methods to achieve them. The presenter will use a case presentation to provide methodology for establishing that threshold. 

Course Objectives
Discuss 2017 Updated ACC Guidelines and NLA Recommendations for Dyslipidemia Management.
Recall that statin therapy is the first line medication treatment for risk reduction. 
Discuss considerations for addition of "other" classes of lipid lowering medication when combination medication therapy is warranted.
