This webinar will review new or changes to Medicare regulations in 2018 that could impact cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.  Some of the topics that will be discussed are CMS final rules on site of service, final 2018 Medicare billing & payment information, and the new Medicare coverage policy for supervised exercise therapy for peripheral artery disease.  There will also be time allotted for Q & A.

Learning Objectives: 
1. Attendees will describe how CMS sets reimbursement rates for hospital outpatient services, focusing on pulmonary rehabilitation.
2. Attendees will identify appropriate coding, billing, and documentation required by CMS in 2018.
3. Attendees will review consistencies and variations in CMS documentation requirements for cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services.
4. Attendees will understand how the location of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation services determines reimbursement rates.

This activity has been planned and implemented by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) for the advancement of patient care.  Successful completion of a post assessment and completion of a course evaluation are required to earn continuing education credit. This course has been approved by the Professional Education Committee of the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation for a maximum of 1.0 AACVPR Continuing Education Credit.
