The AACVPR Annual Meeting is the premier educational event for cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation professionals. Top-notch education is provided in five tracks:

General Meeting Objectives

Accreditation Statement

This activity has been planned and implemented by Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) for the advancement of patient care. Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nurses licensed in Iowa and California: This activity was planned and developed in accordance with the continuing education standards of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). The Iowa Board of Nursing and the California Board of Nursing will honor ANCC continuing education credits for face-to-face programs held outside Iowa and California, or for ANCC-approved online recorded courses taken in a self-study format.

Pharmacy
The AACVPR 29th Annual Meeting is sponsored by Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education (HSCE). HSCE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This activity is assigned Universal Activity (UAN) # 0839-9999-14-052-L04-P and is accredited for a maximum of 28.25 hours for attendance of all CE sessions September 3-6, 2014. Dietician Nutritionist, Dietetic Technician
Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (DTRs) will receive 23.25 continuing professional education units (CPEUs) for completion of this program/material. Respiratory Therapy
Application has been made to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for continuing education contact hours for respiratory therapists.

Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy
This program meets the criteria of an approved continuing education program relevant to the practice of physical and occupational therapy. Each professional is responsible for their own certification through an approved agency within their State.
