37th AACVPR Annual Meeting CE Information

Please note, while sessions are available to attendees in both during the live Annual Meeting in West Palm Beach and in a recorded format for Beyond the Beach, attendees may only claim CEUs for participation in the session once. You may not claim credit for attending a presentation live, in addition to viewing the same presentation’s recording.

An application has been made to the Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education for the following credit hours.

  • In-Person Meeting (Wednesday, September 21 – Friday, September 23): 17.50
  • In-Person Meeting (Wednesday, September 21): 7.25
  • In-Person Meeting (Thursday, September 22): 7.25
  • In-Person Meeting (Friday, September 23): 5.00
  • Beyond the Beach On-Demand Education: 51.50

In-Person Conference

The 37th Annual Meeting is scheduled for September 21-23, 2022. At the end of the meeting, you will receive instructions via email on how to claim your credits for your time in West Palm Beach. CE credits cannot be claimed prior to the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. You are welcome to use the “My Agenda” tool in the 37th Annual Meeting Mobile app to track the sessions you attend. Alternatively, a paper CEU tracking form will be available at the registration desk.

Beyond the Beach

Starting on October 10, recordings of the live sessions and additional on-demand presentations will be available to access. Annual Meeting registrants can view the on-demand recordings through your Pathable profile until January 31, 2023. After viewing the presentation recording, click the survey link on the Pathable session page to complete the evaluation and download your certificate. Beyond the Beach participants can earn up to 51.50, commiserate with the sessions viewed and evaluated by January 31, 2023. Attendees seeking AACVPR CEU's for their CCRP recertification are welcome to use any of the Annual Meeting certificates to show proof of participation in this activity.

CE's Offered and Applied for the 37th AACVPR Annual Meeting

  • AACVPR CE Credit : The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation will offer a maximum of 60.00 CE credits. Attendees seeking AACVPR CEU's for their CCRP recertification are welcome to use any of the Annual Meeting certificates to show proof of participation in this activity.
     
  • Physician CE Credit: Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates the 37th AACVPR Annual Meeting for a maximum of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. AAPA accepts AMA category 1 credit for the PRA from organizations accredited by ACCME.
     
  • Nurse CE Credit: Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates this activity with 17.5 contact hours for nurses. Nurses should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
     
  • Respiratory Therapist CE Credit: Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates the 37th Annual Meeting for 13.0 Continuing Education Respiratory Education (CRCE) credit hours.
     
  • Physical and Occupational Therapy CE Credit: The 37th AACVPR Annual meeting has been approved for a total of 60.00 Continuing Education Credits through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM).
     
  • Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) CE Credit: Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited Provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Registered dietitians (RDs) and dietetic technicians registered (DTRs) will receive 17.5 CEUs for completion of this program/material from September 21-23, 2022. Codes: 8.1.1, 8.2.1.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education (HSCE) and American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education (HSCE) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

How to Claim Your CE's From the In-Person Annual Meeting

  • Physician CE Credit:Please complete this evaluation form to collect your continuing education credits and print your certificate. You will be prompted to complete a conference evaluation form. Upon completion of the evaluation, you will be automatically directed to a page to print your continuing education certificate. Once you have opened the certificate you will need to complete the certificate with your name (top of certificate) and the CE hours attended (bottom of certificate). Print your certificate and retain for your records. Attendees should only claim CE hours attended commiserate with their conference participation.
     
  • Nurse CE Credits: Please complete this evaluation form to collect your continuing education credits and print your certificate. You will be prompted to complete a conference evaluation form.   • Respiratory Therapist CE Credits: Please complete this evaluation form to collect your continuing education credits and print your certificate.   • Physical and Occupational Therapy CE Credit: Please submit a complete copy of this worksheet to education@aacvpr.org in order to claim your ACSM credits. You will receive a PDF copy of your continuing education certificate within five (5) business days of submitting your completed worksheet. Please submit all completed worksheets no later than October 31.

How to Claim Your CEU's for Beyond the Beach

  • AACVPR, Physician, Nurse, Dietician, PT, and OT CE Credit: After viewing the presentation recording, click the survey link on the Pathable session page to complete the evaluation and download your certificate. Beyond the Beach participants can earn up to 55.75, commiserate with the sessions viewed and evaluated by January 31, 2023. Attendees seeking AACVPR CEU's for their CCRP recertification are welcome to use any of the Annual Meeting certificates to show proof of participation in this activity.
     
  • Respiratory Therapist CE Credit: An application has been made to Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education for 51.50 Continuing Education Respiratory Education (CRCE) credit hours. A response to the application is expected by November 1, 2022. Respiratory Therapist CE credits cannot be claimed prior to November 1, 2022.
