The AACVPR Annual Meeting offers an array of face-to-face networking functions, such as:
|
Welcome Reception

Start your on-site experience off on the right foot by attending the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, Septemeber 25. Zumba
Thursday, September 26 | 7:00 - 7:45 a.m.
In order to destress, you have to dance it out… at least, that’s what the doctors on Grey’s Anatomy claim. Use this fun, cardio-centered class to shimmy and show off your best (or worst – this is a no judgement zone) dance moves.

Poster Reception
Thursday, September 26 | 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Want to learn more about exciting research and quality improvement projects from cardiopulmonary rehabilitation researchers and clinicians? Join us for AACVPR’s second-annual Poster Reception! Browse posters on a variety of topics related to cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and chat with the teams behind these projects to gain insight into their research objectives. New! This year, you’ll also have the opportunity to vote for your favorite poster during the reception, so make sure to attend to cast your ballot.

Sunrise Yoga
Friday, September 27 | 7:00 - 7:45 a.m.
Evidence supports the effects of posture, thoracic mobility and inspiratory muscle training on breathing. Pulmonary rehab (PR) therapists generally incorporate stretching, breathing exercises and strength training using weights, Thera-bands and inspiratory muscle training devices as part of the PR intervention. That said, it only felt right to incorporate a little yoga into our event.
