Claim CE Credits

Please note, while sessions are available to attendees in both the live broadcast and recorded format, attendees may only claim CEU’s for participation in the session once. You may not claim credit for viewing a presentation live, in addition to viewing the same presentation’s recording.

For credits earned during virtual Annual Meeting

The AACVPR Annual Meeting live broadcast is scheduled for October 6 – October 9, 2021. During the live broadcast dates, the meeting will be “live” with presentations broadcast concurrently, similar to an in-person event. At the end of the live meeting, you will receive your certificates for credit earned from live sessions via email. If you do not receive your emailed certificates, contact AACVPR no later than October 15. 

For credits earned during Rapid-fire Week

Stay tuned for Rapid-fire Week! A total of eight rapid-fire sessions will be broadcasted from October 25 through October 28, 2021. Attendees will only be able to claim live CEU’s for these sessions – the rapid-fire sessions will not be recorded. At the end of rapid-fire week, you will receive an email with instructions for how to claim your credits. 

For credits earned After the Rodeo 

Starting on October 25, recordings of the live broadcast and additional on-demand presentations will be available to access. Annual Meeting registrants can view the on-demand recordings through your Pathable profile until December 31, 2021. After viewing the presentation recording, click the survey link on the Pathable session page to complete the evaluation, knowledge assessment, and download your certificate.

    • The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation will offer a maximum of 51.75 CE credits for participation in the virtual meeting and on-demand session viewing for the virtual 36th AACVPR Annual Meeting.
  • Physician CE Credit
    • Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates this live activity for a maximum of 19.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
  • AAPA accepts AMA category 1 credit for the PRA from organizations accredited by ACCME.
    • Participants in the live virtual meeting can claim 19.25 continuing education credits commiserate with their participation from September 30 – October 2, 2021 plus 6 continuing education credits house commiserate with their participation in the Rapid-fire week from October 25 – October 28, 2021.
    • Participants in the lve virtual meeting who then view on-demand presentation recordings can receive an additional 26.5 maximum credits commiserate with their participation, for a total maximum credits of 51.75 for the live and on-demand meeting presentations. A further application has been made for a total of 23.5 Continuing Respiratory Education (CRCE) system of the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) for on-demand sessions. Attendees will be notified once approval has been achieved.
  • Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) CE Credit
    • Creighton University Health Sciences Continuing Education designates this activity for a maximum of 19.25 CPE Level 3 CPEU CE Credit Hours for participation in the October 6-9 live, virtual Annual Meeting. 
      • Participants in the live virtual meeting who then view on-demand presentation recordings can receive an additional 26.5 maximum credits commiserate with their participation, for a total maximum credits of 51.75 for the live and on-demand meeting presentations. Please note, you cannot claim credit for viewing a presentation during the live program and later on-demand.
  • Physical and Occupational Therapy CE Credit
    • This event has been approved for 51.75 ACSM CEU’s. The American College of Sports Medicine’s Professional Education Committee certifies that “American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR)” meets the criteria for official ACSM Approved Provider status from (2019 – December 2022).
